Do you pro-"choice" people agree that people should be able to abort their baby for ANY reason, even just because they don't like the gender? I am genuinely interested in your answer. I personally find it abhorrent.

really?

Why not just link to the Economist article? It was better written. It was important to tie to fictional characters, but not go into the local marriage market?

I too wish I didn't have to work for my wealth and could attract the attentions of nubile young girls and then have generations of women prop me up as the ideal mate because while others were working the land I inherited I had enough leisure time to study poetry.

I'm just glad my ancestors had the good sense to leave England where they were forced into work in horrible factories because they were landless, and come here to Utah where they could prosper. I don't stay up at night thinking about the people that were their before them, not that there is anything I could do about it.

The Mormon church needs to get into those countries! It might help with the opposite problem single young LDS ladies face.

Single LDS woman..

This is hard for me to picture when I go to Single Adult activities and see 1 man to 6 women!!!!

Here men have it made.. they go for the young (10 -12)years younger then them and only the pretty! Those seem to be the top 2 catagories..Because they can because they are in such demand.

testimmony,loyalty,virtue,maturity... well those things are important just not as much as the first two demands... so...

PLEASE... can we send some of those men over here and level the playing field out!

I had never considered how abortion eliminates women from the world in many nations. The very procedure many women march for in rallies, thinking that they are promoting the advancement of women, is actually eradicating them.
