Glad Matthews and D-Will are playing.

I wish AK was not so frail. We really need him back in the lineup against a team like this.

AK in the starting lineup was the catalyst to our huge winning steak.

Come on AK--Get well ASAP!!!

Hopefully he will get the message to continue his offseason workouts and bulk up a bit more.

Its clear his thin body just can not take the beating.

JustME

Man...I want Kirilenko to play tonight... We really need him.

I love it when he plays and am so tempted to criticize him when he won't play when he is hurt.

But I am sure I don't know the full story

Monty Montana

The Suns will be looking for some pay back!

John Wicks

You can bet with C.J. starting the Jazz will get blown out. Korver should get the starting nod over the young immature boy.

use your common sense

Deron we need you play but not at cost of further injurying yourself we need you at full strength maybe you should take tonight off because we are going to get beaten snd you might get rested for NewOrlean because they will be rested up

hmmmmm......

it sure is odd that deron is playing with a bruised shoulder, a mild ankle sprain, a bruised back, and a sore wrist, and AK can't play with a hurting calf.....he's a good player but needs to man up and stop wimping around, especially considering the money we're paying him

Think positive

Korver plays quite well coming in off the bench so it"s alright for CJ to start CJ needs the ego boost. Let"s all hope for the win!

@hmmmmm....

if you're calf is strained you can't run.
if you can't run, you can't play in the game.

he's in a walking boot, you idiot.

i'm sure the team doesn't want him to play either.

stupid people!

Miles

You can bet with C.J. starting the Jazz will win by 40. Korver should get 20 minutes of garbage time.

think

CJ needs an ego boost, huh? If being given all the stroke he's been given over the past few years hasn't been enough for him to think someone important trusts him to get the job done, then I don't think one more start in Phoenix is going to make the difference. I sure wish the CJ experiment would come to an end. Maybe Ronnie Brewer wasn't going to get much better, but neither is CJ apparently, and Brewer worked harder.

die hard

The stuborn side of me wants to say earn your 17 mill AK and get your butt out their, on the other hand it's pretty obvious we need him for the stretch if we are gonna win a game or two in the playoffs?

Hope they don't run D Will into the ground?

It was a bonehead move . , .

. . . to play AK against the Timberwolves and not let him continue to heal anticipating tonight's matchup. He had said he was "90%" ready to go. How about letting him get to 100%, and not throw him in a meaningless game? This one is on Sloan . . . .

let CJ start

its better that korver comes off the bench, it makes our bench team that much stronger. the starters seem to do a bad job anyway lately, and the bench has had to come in and get them back into the game. so if the bench has to do that again tonight its going to be much easier for them to do it with korver than CJ.

Foresee Jazz Big Loss tonight

Don't bother to raise our hopes too high. This game is in the Suns'pocket. A "W " for them and a "L" for us, I foresee.

Why do I say this?

One: Well, historically the Jazz rarely win deciding games they should win.

Two: The Suns will not let the Jazz humiliate them for the 3rd consecutuive time, which also happened to be played in their own backyard.

Three: In the absence of AK, no one is out there within the team to anchor the already inconsistent Jazz defense.

But I would welcome any surprising Jazz win, be it by hook or by crook.

Misplaced

@Miles ...let's hope your right on with CJ starting the Jazz will win by 40...You are a little bit over the top backing up CJ...you're either his agent or his relative so we expect your devotion. You don't have to put down Korver tho to build up your man CJ!

Miles

I was just helping John Wicks understand what Korver's role is on the team.

Cheese with the whine?

I wish I could not go to work when I have a headache either. If my employees whimped out as often as NBA players, I'd be out of business.

Hats off to Malone and Stockton for playing with minor injuries all those years. As much as I dislike Coby, he's a warrior.

This is getting pretty sad that any little thing keeps Jazz players on the bench. Man up. No other NBA team is looking and thinking of grabbing players where every little injury keeps them from playing. That's why Boozer received no offers. "If he won't play for them unless 100% healthy, he won't play for us either."

alot of you guys are always putting down C.J...give the "kid" a break..alot of you are older than him & i'd like to see you play in his shoes..Plus the kid came right out of H.S. which is very difficult transaction..when Utah played the lakers in the playoffs in the late 90's, Kobe was out of high school as well. Most of you don't remember thoses series where Utah knocked LA out twice in the playoffs & Kobe was terrible.I remember him throwing up air-balls during those easy Utah series wins...Kobe didn't become a "star" until he was 23 yrs. of age; that's how old C.J. is right now...Give the kid some more time & better coaching when hopefully Jeff takes over the team.Jeff was a 2 guard as well, so he can be a better influence on C.J. than the MASTER controller is now (sloan)..C.J.'s shooting % is down this year because he's taking more 3's..What bothers me is his F.T. % is down, he's not concentrating (somethings bothering him: sloan)? When sloans gone,he'll emerge !

CL

With AK out, we need everyone to have a good game and DWill, Booz, & Okur need to have alittle better than normal. We need 2 out of the 3 wings to have 15 plus points. We need to come out with energy and intensity.
I'd like to see Fes get 15 minutes. He could help control the paint and alter some shots.
If the Jazz can pull this off, it would be huge.

CL

The way Stodamire has started, we could really use Fes in the game. Okur and Booz are playing like they are afraid to get fouls. Williams is really having trouble shooting. Things don't look good.
Korver and CJ need to have good games, especially from 3 point range. Fes just came in, lets hope he has a big impact on the game.
