What the point if still loosing job.
I get this, you are reporting that things are improving because the "job loss" is slower? Hows that for twisting yourself into a pretzel to keep from reporting the awful truth. Flacking for the government?
Thier are NO jobs out there
even in the Resturant Business)
As Cost Of LIVING RISES
The lead in statement says, "Utah's economy is slowly improving, with more moderate job losses in February, according to an employment summary issued Thursday by the state Department of Workforce Services."
So, how does continued job losses (though slowing down), translate to a slow improvement to the economy? I would think that as more and more people drop off the employment rolls, the economic situation would worsen. What am I missing here?

There are no economic problems in Utah.
I think what they are trying to say is that the tanking economy is looking less tanky - the runaway train is slowing down. Which means we are sloooowly getting closer to a stable economy.
But if you want to be an Eeyore, you can just say that it's still bad news. And probably Obama's fault, somehow...
Been unemployed for a while now and the only jobs they got are minimum wage.
It is not Obama's fault. We are in a global economy and you can blame it on all the politicians.
I only worked 6 months last year and havent worked since Oct. I agree with Unemployed, the only jobs are underpaid and then you won't get them anyway becuase they want expeience at being underpaid!
