I don't think the time spent watching a few of the games in the office is a waste of time. People are already working too hard to make ends meet in this recession. Besides, "a little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men", and a little madness in march goes a long way for me

No offense intended but...you don't own or run a company, do you? I didn't think so.

To SportsFan: You obviously do not work for the Government! Federal, State or City. A lot less work and a lot of nonsense is our motto!

first

time in years that I have read a column in the DN that makes sense, is humerous, and shows class and style.

well done.

No big deal

Whats the big deal about office pools, we already break speed limits every day.

Streaming TV

has been blocked on our work's network so I'll be calling in sick on the days I want to watch games
;-) cough cough. I feel it coming on now. It should be full swing about Thursday!

Boss

My boss heads up our office pool. We have a new pool each week in fact. If you did poorly in the first round, you get a new chance in the second...
So far in 5 years at the company I have made about $12. I wish he would take us to Wendy's.

Re: first

First time in years? Maybe you should stop reading then. Certainly you're aware there is more than one newspaper out there...

Tony the Shark

Brackets are for "entertainment purposes only."

@first

so you consider cheap shots at the president classy? interesting

CHeap Shots???

He's got time to get on ESPN to fill out a bracket???

That wasn;t a cheap shot it was a fact.

@CHeap Shots???

"Let's hope his predictions for health care reform and turning around the economy are better than 19 of 32." yes cheap shots

hacker

I think I have an eye problem. I can't see going to work Thursday.

However, I'm sure I'll be able to watch at least one game on Thursday.
