Maybe he'll get some playing time today to evaluate him further if it's a blow-out (for either team).

what's in a name

Wow. How would like to be referred to as a "product?"

Talk about dehumanizing someone.

Jeffers rules.

Guys like Jeffers will work twice as hard as run-of-the-mill NBA hired guns, and the Jazz are a better team for it.

Keep it up, Othyus. We're pulling for you.

Jazz Fan

Good move.

Jeffers seems to be exactly the type of player the Jazz value most... athletic, hardworking, and humble. The humble factor makes a player teachable and willing to do whatever is asked of him to help the team. To find such a player at the NBA minimum salary is fortunate. To do so 3 times in one year, as the Jazz have now done, is very fortunate indeed. One just has to look at the team record to see what effect it's had so far.
If I did have a vote, I would do so to keep Jeffers at least the rest of the year in order to find him more playing time. That would be the only way to better evaluate his full potential to the team. So far, so good. But more time is required in order to keep from making any more "Mo Williams" type decisions, wherein we find an overlooked great player only to let him also slip through our fingers to the benefit of another team. Cleveland added us to their Christmas card list after that one. It's preferable to add someone elses to ours.

I agree completely with Dean. Jeffers is a great guy and a great find. And with three rotation players out today, it shows that we will need all the players we can get when the playoffs arrive.

Give KOC & Sloan Some Credit

Hmmm, it looks like KOC just might know a little about evaluating talent after all...

I hope they play Jeffers tonight to see if he can play it's time to find out.
