How much will it cost to provide health care for illegal aliens? We are struggeling to maintain our economy and my guess is that illegal alien health care will sink the nation financially. Perhaps undocumented persons should go home and rely on their nations services.

When your health care is given to you for free, is there really room to complain?

The hispanic population has enough drugs in their countries, they can go back and probably grow it in their own yards.

I used to live in Salt Lake City, I moved to Ottawa, ON-Canada, I wish you can come here and see by yourselves how many AMERICANS come here, give fake addresses in order to get FREE HEALTHCARE!

Your politicians have done nothing to improve the healthcare system in the States, as soon they get paid from these companies, they dont care about the people.

I hope you can understand the URGENCY to have a healthcare system to help everyone within the country, good health= good live= better communities= more health for work= more money= progress!

WE pay taxes here in order to have that health system, IT IS NOT FOR FREE!, it is not perfect, but a lot better than yours.

Health care, education, protection, food, medicine, public services should address the needs of every single soul, not for free, but with help of everyone of us, taking care of each other!

"health" is not about insurance. It's not about Doctors Cutting and Drugging you. Health is about Personal Responsibility. It's about what you put into your body. The Reason "health care" costs so much is because people are so ignorant of what they chose to consume.

Unless you're planning on immortality, we're all going to need health care at some point in our lives. It'd just be nice if everyone could get treatment when it's needed without worrying about going bankrupt.

And I love how everybody sees "Hispanics" and immediately assumes that they're illegal. Stay classy, Utah.

They pay alot more than a little. Try 50-60%!.Yea, it does need to be fixed, but it will not happen overnight or in a year.

I'm white, no health insurance, and working part in construction because I can't get bids with so many illegal immigrants in the industry. On top of that the last time I went to an insta-care they sent me to the hospital for two CT scans costing $1500 (more than I make in a month these days). I don't think its right to be providing to "minorities" just because they are the minority. Isn't that reverse racism and where is sympathy for the "white" construction workers who have lost nearly the entire industry to people who have no right being here.

I'd like to see Mexico prosper and have a standard of living to keep people from crossing the border. But those Nafta jobs that use to pay a decent wage with benefits in the states are now paying $150 a month or about $1 an hour.

I don't buy "Made in China" but will buy "Made in Mexico". But I'm unsympathetic and racist for wanting illegal immigrants to return home.

The problem exists for all immigrants who come here, not just Hispanics. All people are required to pay their own costs after getting a legal visa here for five years.

The article mentions undocumented workers, that's what's raising the comments about people here illegally.

I'm a "Hispanic". With the help of these programs I had insurance as a kid when my parents couldn't afford it, needed a lot of attention I might add. I am also an American who was born and grew up here in SLC! Should these programs stop because Hispanics like myself need them? I think not... These programs saved my life at one point. When times are bad, people are afraid... I'd just like to say Thanks for having them. I'm currently a successful American broadcaster, and a proud Hispanic.

Do you think we might find an article in the Mexico City Morning News concerning the appalling medical treatment available to Anglos in the hispanic mecca? I feel about as responsible for the health and well being of hispanics illegally in the US as I do about the coffee crop in Kenya. I paid $33,000 to be able to leave Los Cabos after being involved in an accident due to grease dumped on a hotel restaurant's marble floor. The charges were grossly inflated, such as two ambulance rides, one from the hotel to the clinic followed by a ride to the airport at $9000. I'm amazed at the control Mexico has on US immigration policy, yet when the circumstances are reversed, neither government gives a rip. With 70% of the "charity" births in LA County being to mothers who are Mexican citizens, soon hispanics will be in the majority and the US will be the world's crime-drug-and filth capital, Mexico is now.

These hispanics, mostly and inclusive to all illegals, get better health care than most americans. They even smuggle in the sick and old from mexico to get free health care for generations of their families.

These illegals get it for their children from the state and loopholes in the laws. Go to any emergency room in Utah and its all Mexican illegals looking to steal health care using false identities so they can't be tracked or traced so the hospitals can collect for services. Every hospital in the state is full of illegals with unknown identities but can't be denied because the of our own laws.

Just because this story can't prove they haven't received health care they have no right to say they are not getting health care. Do you really think an illegal is going to admit that they actively steal health care under falsification of documents?

There is no reason we americans should be forced to subsidize these thieves with their lies and criminal activities to our health care costs. It's not a long jump to say that 90% of mexicans in Utah are illegals looting and pilfering from poor americans.
