Way to CHOKE Weber
Thats heart-breaking. That must have been some game. Weber State is still a very good team though. And they keep getting better.
An absolute heartbreaker. I may be an Aggie, but I still very much sympathize and mourn the lost chance.
What a jaw-dropping second half, no matter how you cut it.
Montana player grabbed the jersey and pulled a WSU player to the floor, which created the jump ball. Another in a long line of no-calls on the night that contributed to the loss. Sad.
This stinks!! Pull my heart out and stomp on it Montana. They had this one put away!
Wow. Condolences to Wildcat fans.
It sounds like free throws played a huge part in this game: Montana making theirs, and Weber missing. Hopefully every returning Wildcat player will take free throw practice dead seriously this summer and show they've learned from this tough lesson next season.

I thought it at first, too, but that particular call on slow-mo appeared correct.
As for a "long line of no calls," that's a tired argument, usually one-sided. Montana flat-out outplayed WSU down the stretch, that is a fact.
How do you blow a 20 point half time lead? What a CHOKE!
I was at the game and honestly sat there stunned. Anthony Johnson was unconscious. He outscored the whole weber team 34-25 in the second half.
When you change/slow your game up to preserve your lead, you allow the other team to come back from a big deficit and end up losing the game. Might have also been wise to double team the guy scoring 75% of their points!
Also, how does a player miss 7 of 12 free throws, especially with 2 missed free throws at the end with the game on the line? That kid must be blaming himself big time and deservedly so for the choke honors of the night. What a missed opportunity!
That blew me away. I was rooting for you guys all the way...A Total letdown. Guess only two Utah teams will make it this year, unless the Utes(sigh) can pull of some sort of miracle.
Wow, what a heartbreaker. I did not see the game, did Weber do a box and one or anything to change up the D to better cover that guy?
To the posts that mention "choke" you guys are heartless. It is painful enough as is, especially when describing student-athletes, not pros.
Too bad Weber does not have a decent point guard. Lilliard is a great shooting guard but not a point guard - that would have helped.
Missed free throws, failure to recognize inside game was not working well, and how do you take your last time out after the opponenet misses a free throw with 2.1 seconds left on the clock, the coaches chocked as much as the team did!
Congrats, you finally have a little brother.
tomorrow you get to see Big Brother play.
Randy Rahe has succeeded in me breaking the Wildcat habit. I used to claim with a lot of pride that was my school. THAT IS OVER!
Rahe was totally outcoached. Franklin Sessions was awful on both ends of the court. His free throw shooting inability should have put his rear end on the bench yet there he is with the game on the line. A better coach would not have him out there. Rahe mismanaged his timeouts and his decision to go into a stalling game with 6 minutes left was exactly what Montana needed.
No more trips to Ogden and no more purchases of any tickets. Weber does not have a coaching staff that is capable of recruiting decent players or executing a game plan. HOW DO YOU LOSE THE TOURNAMENT TWICE ON YOUR HOME COURT??
YOU HAVE BURNED ME TOO MANY TIMES!!
There are many other options for my entertainment dollars. As I exited the Dee Events Center for my last time the sentiment of many other departing fans echoed mine.
Rahe lost more than a game tonight and fans will vote with their wallets.
Very hard game to watch. Congrates to Montana for the amazing comeback, and I hope they can represent the Big Sky well in the NCAA tournament.
Best of luck to Weber in the NIT. I'll be watching like always.
Story of two halves. Hand it to the Montana team. They were the aggressor in the second half. But Hey, our guys will be back. I know this one hurts but like Coach Rahe said "It Should". Next year looks promising as I think we only loose two or three and have some good recruits coming in. The Wildcats gave us a fun team to watch and they played hard. The sun will come up this morning and life goes on. You had a great season and hope you do decide to go to the NIT.
NIT-bound. Choke artists.
You're really going to make excuses for the jump ball call? The game should have never been within double digits in the first place. Weber deserved to lose with a performance like that! How about you play some defense on #23; now there's an idea!
