Good for you Kent! And, GOOD LUCK!

Tax payers lose

Miller continued to persecute Morgan even after she was forced to reinstate him. What a waste of time, energy and resources just to feed her ego!

Time to vote her out - $1.7M is a lot to pay for her vindictive actions.

So Who pays?

This is all fine and good, but who is going to flip the bill over two public servants fighting? I would love to know the answer to that question.

we would have to pay

Salt Lake County tax payers have to pay for this. I'm no Lohra Miller fan but I also think Morgan is a bit fishy. Can we just get rid of both of them?

Go Kent.

Fire them all

This office has been a clown show of grandstanding politicians and hyper-ego lawyers for decades, more interested in promoting their own careers than prosecuting criminals.

Fire every last one of the people there- the County Attorney, every lawyer, secretary, paralegal, and even the janitor.

Start over with a clean slate, and a policy that anyone who talks to a newspaper other than on the merits of a case filed by the County will be fired on the spot.

Just remember- it is 99% of the lawyers that make the rest look bad.

I admire Kent Morgan for standing up to Lohra Miller. I hope he prevails again. Ms. Miller just annouced that she is running for re-election so his timing is great. It will put her in the spotlight in a way she would prefer not to be. This woman has been a disaster. Her arrogance is boundless, she must know that the public are against her re-election but yet she chooses to run again. I have friends who work in her office and none of them support her. That says something when her own staff are against her.

All I have read about Ms. Miller has been bad. It's time the people of Salt Lake City says enough is enough. She has done what ever she has want to do lets start holding her accountable for her actions. Lets bring her before a review board for how she's been doing wrong, before it costs the good people of Salt Lake alot of money.

Time for a change

It is a shame that Kent Morgan has been the target of Lohra Miller's political vendetta and we as taxpayers have to suffer the consequences. Miller has driven the DA's office into the ground and it is time to give her the boot. My vote will go to Sim Gill this time. He is a veteran prosecutor who has more integrity in his finger that Lohra has in her whole body! Vote for Sim to restore the public trust in the DA's office.

How great it is

Lohra Miller said she was going to sue the private investigator when they proved she ran an illegal law office out of her home. Now Kent Morgan is going to sue her because she is a liar. Look at her track record, she is a proven liar. Case closed!

Never Forget

If Morgan decides to run against Ms Miller, remember how much he, too, as and will continue to cost the taxpayers with these lawsuits. DA's come and go. Can't he just wait out the four years. If he's really that valuable, another DA will see it. If he isn't, then it is better he stays where he is.

Public servants need to continue to prove their worth to the taxpayers. You can't rest on your laurels and do as you please. Maybe Mr. Morgan needs to step up. Maybe not. But if he should, he better. Same with Miller.

Good Luck Kent

I am definitely no Lohra Miller fan and am counting the days until I can vote for her opponent. Even though it's the taxpayers that will ultimately pay the price for this departmental fighting, Kent Morgan's rights have been violated repeatedly by this woman.

He was proven innocent of the charges used to fire him initially and an independent review board ruled that he was to be reinstated to his post. Lohra Miller twisted that ruling to give him a menial, lesser paying job to further persecute him and take revenge for losing the termination case.

Asking nicely is no longer an option for this man. The only thing that is going to have any meaning to Lohra is something with a big price tag that generates a lot of publicicy. That's all she cares about - her ego and her image. Although, her image isn't anything to have an ego about.

This woman has been a disaster for the county. Not only has she botched several cases, she can't even terminate an employee in a manner that doesn't result in a million dollar price tag.

I'm glad that I didn't vote for Lohra Miller in the Republican Convention four years ago. Unfortunately, I voted for her in the general election. She has turned out to be the village idiot. She makes Ted Cannon look like a saint.

Unless the Republicans come up with someone like John T. Nielson, or even Morgan, I'll vote for Skordas.

yet another

reason to vote Lohra Miller out of office. I know it is supposed to be a secret but I'm certain at a minimum 95% of the DA's office is voting against Miller even if it is Bin Laden against her. She is seriously the worst, DO NOT VOTE FOR LOHRA MILLER!!!! She is corupt to the core and terrible at her job.

ridiculous hyperbole

Ok, so let's get real here. If you really took the facts of what happened with Mr. Morgan, Lohra did whatever she could to ensure the integrity of the office. In this case, it was with the firing of Mr. Morgan. Do you keep someone in office who has been accused of leaking information? The answer is no. If you look at her professional handling of the Smart case, the amount of money that she cut her budget by.. etc. she has done wonders compared to previous DA's that have been in the office. Sure, she has had her share of ups and downs, but as far as doing the job that we put her there to do.. I'd say we're doing just fine. She's definitely got my vote in her re-election bid. Comparing her to bin-laden? Do you guys really believe the things you smear across your screen with your keyboard? Do some research, and get the facts...or let KSL/FOX13/KUTV feed you the spin.

I totally support Kent Morgan. I think he has been blackballed from day one by Lohra Miller, and I think it's because she know's he's a much better attorney than her. I absolutely back him up 100% and would totally vote for him if he runs. I for sure would vote against Ms. Miller in any case. She sounds like another Nancy Pelosi to me.

Jon

Good for Kent,
Lohra was warned by the Judge when she tried to dis-miss him. She knows better. Lohra has gone out of her way to treat him un-fair.

Good bye

This is why we need someone new in that office that will run the business of the people and not push her own ego.

Knowing Lohra a little better these days, I find her to be a very kind and amiable person, but an unfit District Attorney. I think she needs to be ousted from office. I also know that one of the contenders to her throne, Greg Skordas, isn’t really any better. He’s been involved in enough of his own controversies for me to cast a shadow of doubt over his competence as well. There have been too many ego-maniacal characters in this office as of late, and it needs to end. The personal agendas of these people are costing us money! I have had the opportunity to hear Sim Gill on several issues, as well as look up his record to see if there’s anything controversial about him in the papers and on the net. There is nothing but a long history of service and political change. I’m voting for Sim.

Rob Joseph

I support Kent in his efforts.
