BYU fan here, I can't stand the Yewts, but have to give props to Johnson. He was hands down one of the better safties I have seen in a while and carried Utah on his back this season. (Won the CSU game practically by himself and kept Utah in the Oregon game)
Anyway, good luck next year Robert! Hopefully we'll see you cruising around some back fields on Sundays.
RoJo is the bomb! I can only imagine him at Hala hall!
Please spell the name correctly "Ute". You are not being funny and it's an insult to the native American tribe.
What is with the "Yewts" stuff? It makes you sound really immature and unintelligent. If it's supposed to be derogatory, it doesn't work. Not capitalizing "Utes" would be more offensive. Anyway, Johnson was my favorite player since he was on the team. It was always enjoyable to watch him play. I wish him the best of luck in his future ventures, regardless if he goes to the NFL or not. I can't wait for the next football season. No other gang of college men dare meet us in The Muss. GO UTES!!!
I agree. Cougar fans: it is spelled "Utes". Take note.
I guess you Ute fans will start spelling cougs correctly then? Not to mention getting rid of the terms "TDS", "kewgies", "zoobies", etc., etc., etc.
Your fan base is so full of it sometimes.
I wish the best of luck to Johnson.
What does TDS stand for?
...Team Down South. Or TurDS.
BYU fans must not have spell check.
Good luck Johnson, may your dream carry on.
Making fun of the name of a group of people native to the state your own school resides in (and is named after) and making fun of a wild cat are not exactly the same. As far as the TDS thing, before that one of the the "terms" used was "Bring 'em Young". I am by no means advocating bringing back religiously demeaning termanology. But comparing Utes to Cougars (by namesake) are not apples on apples.
Back to the subject (another odd concept to "kewgies"... first time I have EVER written that term) Good job Utes!!! I hope the best for all of you..... Even if it means playing for the Bears (GO LIONS!!!!!).
No one is misspelling Utes to make fun of the Native American tribe.
You really are full of it Ute fans.
Bears and Lions Oh my! whoever gives you a paycheck take it and run. If Al Davis calls set up an account in a couple of banks as FDIC only secures 250,000 nowadays.
I think we all understand that you aren't trying to disrespect the tribe but you still are when you say write Yewts
I want to wish all the former Utes good luck in the upcoming draft.
It seems like every year the Utes are putting more and more players into the NFL - that speaks to level of the program and to the success it has seen over the last several years.
Keep up the great work Kyle!! putting players in the NFL stregthens your ability to recruit and leads to more wins!!!
Go Utes!!!
really who cares BYU or Ute fans can say what they want it doesn't effect any one in any way. You guys are acting immature by fighting over this.
Great job boys! Sounds like the scouts were really impressed. Good luck and to all the other Utah schools that are going to have their pro day. GO UTES!!!
"There were alot of 4.4's and 4.3's" Where were those times at the combine? Ute players must run faster in SLC!
Yewt, is a term that is derogatory to the university not the "Ute" tribe. Get over your selves.
The U of U is disrespectful to the Ute tribe by subjecting their name to the competition of intercollegiate sports. When Ute fans slur other schools (zoobie, ybu, tds, etc.), what goes around comes around.
This is the year. The utes are going to run the tables again and this time earn our place in the national championship game. Guaranteed. Mark it down right now - #1 at the end of the season
Go UTES
