Marie will be in my thoughts and prayers. This is so sad.
To Marie Osmond and your family.
May you find solace in the Lord, knowing that your son is in a better place. We never know, what drives a person to do and find a way out in life. May he find peace. Hugs to you all. Angelika Northern Utah
I am so sorry for your loss. No parent should have to go through this. May your faith in the plan of salvation give you peace and comfort.

I pray for your family, such a loss. Rest Marie and don't be afraid to mourn, we will be here to support you. Take some time for yourself.
This is a sad experience for everyone.
God Bless Marie and all of the Osmonds and all of the Blosils at this time.
You are and have been in my prayers.
Having been a great fan of all of the Osmonds since the days of Andy Williams and beyond, I wish to extend my sympathies to Marie and her entire family. God Bless you, Marie. You strength and religious convictions will get you through this.
Having been a follower of the Osmond family since the days of Andy Williams and beyond I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your entire family. You will get through this thanks to your strong faith and convictions. God Bless each and every one of you.
I would like to hear the comments given by Thomas Monson. It is interesting how things work in the Mormon church. As just a run of the mill member I enjoy sitting back and analyzing the way things play out.
He can't be at everyone's funeral, I am sure he would if he could.
I'm so sorry to hear of anyone who is in that much pain that they choose to end their own life. We must NEVER,EVER judge someone who does so unless we have lived in their exact minds, circumstances and hearts. Let's leave the judgement to God. He's the ONLY one who really knows. It's in his hands. Peace comes by knowing a higher power knows so much more than we do. I hope for comfort for the loved ones left behind.
I am what is known as an "Osmond Convert" to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Thanks Osmonds for your real examples of the gospel and may the plan of salvation offer you peace at this tragic and sad time in your lives. Thanks for being so supportive of one another. Marie, may the comforter be safely wrapped around you at this time.
Suicide is a terrible terrible thing, so is depression. I hope others out there can spots the signs and help those in need. Doesn't matter if you are rich, poor, famous, obscure, it can hit any family.
My heart hurts for you, Marie, and your children. You all are in my prayers.
Thomas S. Monson is a friend of the family's. When I die, I hope people close to me and my family speak at my funeral, too.
1) Posting the location for the funeral just doesn't seem respective of their privacy.
2) If you were President Monson, and you had the opportunity to bring peace to a family, wouldn't you?
I hope to read some of President Monson's remarks as understanding death and suicide in a Gospel perspective would be great solice.
A few years ago we lost my grandson, who was also 18, to suicide. The gospel truly has given us the comfort to know that he is all right. When you study up on the adolescent brain there are many things about it that are not developed at the age of 18, and not until in the early 20's. I am at peace with my grandson and the choice he made, understanding that Jesus Christ takes all things into consideration, as he himself actually felt all the feelings, sadness, hopelessness that our loved one felt. And he judges perfectly righteously. I have no concern for the salvation and exaltation of these two boys. God will truly bless you in your sorrow and comfort you and you can feel the peace the Holy Ghost offers you.
Grieving is part of the Gospel and we all must go through it when we loose someone we love.May you receive the confort your heart is in need of. The Lord loves your son and know your pain. All of us have been bless by your family and love you.
Rest in peace, Michael. And may Marie and her family be blessed with peace and comfort. I have so much respect and admiration for the Osmond family for what they've accomplished and the strong people/faith they've consistently maintained over the ensuing years. They are far from perfect, as we all are, but are such a shinning light to others.
