hurt elbow

Thank you Ann, that was a very uplifting and inspiring article. I've recently had stitches in my elbow, but more to the point of your article, have also had my share of emotional hurt recently as well. Thank you for the reminder that we are all very resilient beings, and capable of pulling through in difficult and challenging times!

"Pinky and the Brain" watch out for "Annie and her thumb". BTW whatever happened to Pinky and the Brain? It was my favorite cartoon to watch with my kids while eating Cocoa Puffs. The world is truly going down the tube.

I'm glad your thumb is up and well. I appreciate your wonderful transformation of the everyday into the profound. You do it better than anyone, and with a sense of humor along the way. BTW, snaps for simply waving to the driver (even if it was with your left hand) who was sufficiently mad at you that he gave the middle finger. Calm, happy response to anger - that's how we should all try to act.

From thumbs to Global Warming,

Yes, we humans are a remarkable species.

Two thumbs up on your recovery and column!

Yes, yes you can, Ms. Cannon. Put on something sparkly and hit the town with your new thumb.
