What a great idea! Just moved back here after 30 years in some exotic places, and agree there's much to be enjoyed. Can't wait to see the exhibit.
I lived in Gunlock from the age of 12 to 15 and still have family there. It truly is a special place. Wish I was still there.
I am looking for ward to the exhibit and meeting Mark Hedengren.
I was born and raised in Gunlock and was in a couple of the original photo as was my family.
I still visit my Mother for one week a month in Gunlock.
My Dad was an original Leavitt born and raised in Gunlock, so I was lucky enough to spend summers in Gunlock, swimming in the creek, riding horses and running barefoot down the dusty red road. The days were full of fun and excitement when there was a Rodeo on the 4th or 24th of July. It was nice knowing that I was related to almost everyone in Gunlock. (this was in the 1950's and 1960's. Best time of my
childhood!!! (I am now 66).
