What do you expect the Jaguars have a great coach who keeps his cool, and works with the team. They do have a great program. Best of luck to the Jaguars.

Super Region???

What happened to mighty region 4, three teams taken out by ole region 3. All the talk about how strong region 4 is seems strangely familiar to football. I think the deal with region 4 is there is no great teams and only one bad team. Region 3 has one great team and it looks like two really good teams. Yes....we do have Kearns and T-Ville. Can we now stop the talk about the super region?

re: Super Region

WJ goes 0-2 against Region 4 schools in preseason geting beat by both Hillcrest and Brighton and then beats PG by 2 last night on a game WJ could have easily lost. Still not a winning record against Region 4 teams.

RE:RE:Super Region

While West Jordan might not have a winning record against the "Super Region"; who is left in the playoffs NOW? Right now when it all matters! It is a new season where only the elite play. Region 3 is stronger than most give credit for!

3 for 3

"RE:RE:Super Region | 8:16 a.m. March 3, 2010" - You're right. Pre-season wins don't mean a thing now that the tourney has started. "Super" Region 4 has one team left to carry their banner out of four while little old Region 3 started with THREE and still has THREE playing.

underdog

you got to give the jags alot more credit the ashton kid what a player the team is young playing against teams with all seniors who doesnt want to see the underdogs play hard and win

SO? Region 3 went 3-0 against region 4 yeaterday. Yes, West Jordan could have lost, but they didn't. Jordan had a tough draw with Davis (and Pone Peak had a tough draw with Bingham) but they lost too. Brighton should have won a home game but they didn't. Bottom line, if that region is so great as so many claim, they should be the region that held home court (which Brighton did not but Bingham and WJ did) and pulled off an upset somewhere (which neither PG, LP, nor Jordan could but CH did).

Way to go region 3!

Husky fan

Too bad for the region 4 monsters. Even little Hillcrest beat Pleasant Grove and lost to mighty Alta by only one point at Alta at the end of the season. Seems like the region 4 powers peaked too early this year. Someone please make it a sweep and beat Alta.

Way to go Jags!!! Keep it up. Good luck against DAVIS today!

Region 3

Most coach's in Region 3 work hard at trying to have their teams peaking by State tournment time, when it counts. Great job to those teams that dominated in pre-season though...... Good luck in 2011.... Good job WJ.

Go Duke

IMO, the best team in the state plays in region 3....Bingham. Season records don't matter much once you get to state, except you can get a better seed and stay away from home court games, which is a joke. Hope it goes back to all tournament games being played at Weber next year. Play-in games are fun and a higher seed should get that opportunity to play at home. Sorry Husky fan but it doesn't look like WJ could beat Alta on a neutral court. They won't be defending the title this year.

HEY

WJ...you shot 68% from 3 land against PG....and you shoot 29% for the game against Davis? If you werent going to show up against DHS you shouls have let PG advance.
