"Fredette's fantastic performance led Ute coach Jim Boylen to suggest Fredette might consider turning pro next year"
Boylen hopes!
Byu by 15. so let it be written.
1st sellout since 2005? How pathetic. Utah should just drop basketball altogether.
The zoobs will be beat down and exposed for the unathletic and one dimentional team they are. Utah's 10-foot Wall and Henderson will lead the route. Go Utes!
riding on this game for yhe U. You're done. stick a for in it>
Can afford to lose to a #10 New Mexico. They can not afford to lose to Utah.
Hopefully the only reason it sold out is because BYU cames are going.
If BYU wants a 4 seed it must win out. And do well in the Tourn.
Re: 10:12 Are you kidding? The only think U is playing for right now is a chance to knock BYU off a good seed.
The Utes are going to have to step up their game if they want to win this. Even with this up and down season, they have proven that they have been able to play with and even beat some good teams.
The Utes are going to need a big night from everyone on offense - it would be nice to see one of the freshmen have a break out game.
The coogs are really good but they are beatable.
Go Utes!!!
To SoCalPat: In your dreams. That is the only place that happens.
This will likely be a very good game. Utah is playing for pride and BYU is playing for pride and a high seeding in the tourney.
BYU will win if they play their usual game, shooting from outside to spread the defense and then battle the boards even and getting a transition game going for some fast break points.
Utah will win if they can shut down BYU's outside shot, win the battle on the boards and get back on defense. Utah will not win on offensive power, as they are lacking in that department.
The crowd may play a minor role in the contest even though BYU has won in some hostile crowds this season, so the home court advantage is likely not such a big deal.
I hope Jimmer is well and plays to his potential. This needs to be a NO EXCUSES win for BYU or Utah.
Go Cougars. BYU wins this one by 8.
"Tackle" Jimmer. A healthy Jimmer is unstoppable.
BYU's 4 loses are to 3 teams with a combined record of 74-14 - Not bad!
Should be a fun game to watch. I hope it is very competitive and civil (Henderson and JT). Throw the records out - this is BYU and Utah! Fans be civil. 14 hours to go - can't wait.

This is the same kewg troll who predicted BYU to beat NM by 18 at home. Instead the kewgs lost the game and the MWC title.
Utes are horrible this year. They will be dominated tonight by a Cougar team bent on their annihilation. The Utes will fade into the night the same way they have against so many others (14 I believe) this season. Loyd will come in for Fredette and both will have 20+ point games. Mr. 10 foot wall will have some blocks, but will foul out and no one on the Ute squad will play a complete game.
Yep,focus on Fredette all you want. BYU has so many other players that can play. BYU is going to kill ut in transition, especially if they focus on one person.
As a Cougar fan, one things I'm very worried about is the athleticism of guys like Foster, Tillie and Drca. What will we do?
Also, did you know that there is not a player on BYU's roster that has a worse shooting percentage than your boy Henderson?
Me and my boys will start partaking in “liquid nourishment” later this afternoon and should help provide a “festive” and “welcoming” environment for our Kewgar guests.
We can’t wait to greet you folks at the door and in the stands. Should be interesting!
You're right, how dare he predict a win over a couple bball power houses like UNM and Utah? Especially since both those schools are one in the same.
"BYU's 4 loses are to 3 teams with a combined record of 74-14 - Not bad!"
That's true. But as Cougar fans were so quick to bring up when discussing Utah football, who has BYU beat this year? They've won the games they should have, and lost the games against other tournament teams.
Your best win is @SDSU, or @UTEP!
BYU is a good team, not great. If they can beat Utah, and win a couple in the MWC tourney, they might just squeak out a high enough seed to finally get past the first round in the NCAA's.
Teams who live and die by the outside shot often die in the tourney. As BYU has shown recently.
How did Utah's tourney appearance turn out last year? I didn't bother to watch because a 5 against a 12 shouldn't be much of a game right?
What is the CBS colege station this game is on? What channel on what server? CBS college-what is it? Who are they?
Just like last time Utah / BYU played?
We better get out the beer ponchos. Give some of that liquid nourishment to your boys on the team. You guys are probably going to win your last game of the season. You need to lose this one. Especially since you're trying so hard to stay at 50% in the conference and for the season. It's best to party before the end of the game so you can have some happy time. Nobody likes a mean drunk. Don't forget to use mass transportation on your way home. We love you guys! (Love your enemies; they'll hate you for it.)
