Let's pass around hymn books for his trial. He will still try to fake insanity and sing any chance he can get.
(Get this over with =why wait hes Playing His Game!)
FINALLY!!! Let's get this story a conclusion, and out of the headlines forever!
At last, a competent judge...
The quicker this gets over, the better. Elizabeth Smart is the brave one here, Mitchell is/was the coward that hid behind his insane tactics, but he always was sly like a fox. I always knew he was sane. No sentence will be long enough to keep this person off the streets. May justice's eyes be wide open and give this man several life terms which he desereveds, or rather perpetrated upon himself. He knew what he was doing, which was self, greedy and carnal. Makes one sick. God forgive him. We don't have to...it is up to God.
This is the true value of having a judge with actual experience in the area of criminal law. Experienced judges are not fooled by nonsense. Hopefully, Governor Herbert will finally start appointing judges with criminal law experience for the state system.
still a death penalty for anyone who commits a non-custodial kidnapping?
There's a shocker? Competent? You think?
Hear! Hear! Some light at the end of the tunnel or should I say finally a judge with a little bit more of common sense!
Good!! It is about time that this guys tricks are put to an end. How about cutting his hair and getting rid of that ugly beard?! My faith in the judicial system has just been bumped up a few notches. I am sure though that his attorney will try to appeal the decision of the court.
a judge sees through Mitchell's lies. Judge Kimball is an outstanding judge. Hopefully, Mitchell will receive the sentence he deserves and will never again be free to hurt anyone else.
And justice will be served!!!
YES! YES! YES! The gig's up! Truth will prevail.
This case is now in the bag - mitchel's guilt is clear, the only question was competency. This is why the government spent the money on the competency hearing. Nice work mr. tohlman and everyone else worked hard to bring this pervert to justice.

its been too long Hes Just Playing a mind GAME!
He won't be standing trial, he will be singing trial.
u freaky guy..
He's competent - Now there's a DUH moment!
I believe they have muzzles that can be used on criminals during trial if the person refuses to cooperate or remain quiet.
Isn't this one more case where Shurtleff dropped the ball and the USAG had to pick up the pieces?
