...when a person can lose their house over such a small debt. Aren't there ways to garnish a paycheck? Or did someone just figure this was a great way to make a killing in the housing market? Taking a person's home to pay for a debt that could have been covered by the sale of smaller items reeks of greed and corruption. Granted, she should have paid this bill, or worked something out, but this is ridiculous. I'm glad the justice system is looking into it and hope they will correct this injustice.
Has this dental bill been paid? If not, I am considering sending a money order to North American Recovery Services for the amount of the bill, as a way of helping ms. Ramos. I have never met her.
that is just evil. thank you mr./mrs. dentist.
If she had just paid her bill, she would not be in this situation. It seems a heavy penalty to pay for such a small bill but if you incur the debt you should pay it off.
What goes around comes around. Don't start complaining when you become victimized over something this silly.
How is this even possible ?
