Why doesn't Lehi just partner with UTOPIA? It doesn't seem like Lehi is a large enough city to attract any attention from Google by itself.

Have you looked at UTOPIA? Specifically their financial statement... Oh, and the property lien that goes with a Utopia account. I'm sure Lehi wouldn't want spend my tax dollars for such an expensive option and I'm grateful.

I would personally love to have any true broadband option other than C. and Q. because all they provide is little better than a T1 connection. Plus Lehi dropped the ball on Utopia missing the government program to give grants for updated infrastructure back in the early 2000's. So if Google is willing to help with costs I say do it.

Fantastic! I hope we get it! As a software developer from Lehi I would love to see the city really become the 'High-Tech Capital' of Utah.

Yeah! Finally some competition for some REAL Internet. The US has the most expensive Internet in the 1st world countries for price vs performance. I am just happy that my city has taken an interest in providing ultra-high speed Internet to the community at a competitive price.
