Congratulations boys!! You earned it!! That was a great game to be at! Judge looks tough, but you have the talent and the heart to win. You have a whole community behind you. It's your year. Own it.
Good game Wasatch! Way to keep your head in there and stay focused! Its gonna be an awesome game tomorrow. GO WASATCH!!!
Oh and by the way... it's Jake HOBBS not Haws
Another game down, one more to go, Wasatch!
Give it your all, dig deep, and bring home that championship! We believe in you!!
That Hurricane kid shot lights out! Way to keep your composure, steal the ball, drive the hoop to score and draw fouls and way to hit your free throws Wasatch!
I think ALL College & Pro teams could take a lesson from Wasatch & Hurricne's Foul shooting in the fourth quarter. Bring home another Banner WASATCH.....
Congratulations Wasatch, Great composure in the 4th quarter. Looking forward to a great game this afternoon. Hoping both teams play at their best. Good luck to all.
Great 3a season Wasps. Now it's Hoosier time. Go beat the 5a recruits.
Somebody better snag this kid up, he is in my opinion the best player in 3A and that Wasatch has ever had and hes only a Junior, hes strong, fast, confident and smart. It will be interesting to see if any Colleges out there think the same?
Wasatch has a great team this year and the game against Judge should be a thriller like the Hurricane game only difference is the Judge Coach will keep his cool and the kids for Judge won't get rattled. Good Luck everyone!
You seriously can't check a final between Judge and Emery that was played earlier to see who wasatch plays? just click on your own website. good reporting....
ummm do you remember Josh Cottle? pretty good ball player and quite a bit better than the brown kid. think before you talk.
Does it really bother you that they didn't have the team in there when they ran the story?? Wow you have issues! And by the way it is heidi not hiedi...good commenting...
When this article was written, most likely, Judge and Emery were still playing.
lets not forget the refs played an excellent game also. 24 fouls called hurricane to seven called on wasatch. good work.
But he understands better than Al that these Wasps have always won by playing team ball. When one has an off tourney offensively the others carry him.
than Cottle.
Josh Cottle IS,The best player WASATCH has ever had. HE scored 27 points in a Varsity game has a Freshmen and had 3 3A MVP awards and two STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Mike Brown is a terrific player and no dout will he be playin ball for a collage somewhere, but he has away to go before you could ever compare him to Josh Cottle.
Congrats to the WASP they played hard against a dang good team, lets see if we can beat JUDGE Good Luck and bring home the title.
....Thanks BRAD BOWMAN
not is the same class a Josh Cottle. If you saw Cottle play, you'd understand. As a Judge Alum, I was fortunate (or unfortunate) to see him play on several occasions. Not only the best player in 3A, but probably the best point guard in the state at that time. IMO.
I am not of fan of either team, but what i saw was a game not determined by the players though both teams played well. But i saw a game that was decided on by the officials. I mean thirty one foul shots to 9, now thats not one sided.
Murdock showed great poise last night and is a terrific point guard. Bamgartner is a returning All-State player who was great the night before (29 points). Probst and Hobbs have been solid throughout. Brown is a very good player and a humble kid. There have been many great players at WHS, just leave it at that.
Spoke to the coach after the game and asked him about the technical. The ref gave the Rich kid a "T" because he untucked his shirt! The kid just had fouled out! Untucking a shirt is a technical for kids who are still in the game! Those who've fouled out are now "bench personnel" and can do that
