Not impressed!!

Seriously! Three stars for the China Grill?? I think your (referring to the Deseret News) food critic needs to go back to the restaurant at least a FEW times before taking up a 1,000 words in the newspaper and at the end giving that restaurant high marks. She even admits she tried all chicken entrees with the exception of walnut shrimp (which is NOT authentic Chinese seeing that she was asking readers to answer that question for her in the article) oh and her daughter tried egg drop soup. Your food critic needs to widen her palette a bit. The China Grill is just like going to Panda Express, only with a drive through.

@not impressed!!

Like most critics, their job is to be consistent in their opinion. Ms Katz is. Once you learn how your tastes align with hers, her reviews are very useful in deciding whether you will enjoy the offerings at an eatery. I am fairly adventurous in trying different restaurants, and what I really appreciate about her reviews are the comments about cleanliness which is my one hang up. :o)

I agree with both the comments - her reviews seem to be a little more positive than most critics. But on the other hand, she's consisten and she has fabulous food descriptions!

China Grill Is the BEST!

We love China Grill and don't want to ever be without it. The quality, taste, and value are the best around. It looks like the secret is out!
