Trax goes all the way to Main street and this new taxing district needs to extend all the way to Main street too.
Why do businesses between 400 west and Main street get a break?
Who really benefitted from Gate Way and the government support for that project? Who really is going to benefit from the Church's redevelopment of downtown Salt Lake City? Just when the West side and the Rose Park area has an opportunity to obtain the possible increased access to better retail and commercial services that might benefit local residents instead of the rich folks, it is the local businesses that must bear the burden once again.
Why doesn't Becker get some stimulus money from his hero Obama to get the job done?
When was the last time that property owners in Salt Lake City had a tax refund? I think that, instead of taxing property owners to death, they need either a tax credit or tax refund.
After the kiss-in, I will never go to temple again as they have the 'at will ability to eject anyone from the property for any reason.'
i.e. walk and act like we tell you...and the public is welcome!
Too bad for the businesses on North Temple that have started from nothing, worked hard and built up only to be knocked down and taxed to literal death of thier companies. There was a time when I would have wanted to be a business owner but now government has taken too much control over "The American Dream". and what it had to offer.
