Don Jarvis is one of the most intelligent, capable, and honorable people ever to aspire to public office, ever to want to serve his fellow Utahns out of pure altruism and an abundance of good ideas. (He was my colleague at BYU for almost 40 years.) If the voters in House District 63 in Provo can put aside partisan "non-thinking" just this once, they can help Utah County be represented in the Legislature by a truly excellent public servant, someone who will be remembered like those other great Utah Democrats, Scott Matheson, Bill Orton, and Gunn McKay.
