And here we see the beautiful poetic soul in the lavishly talented Ann Cannon.
What a touching and authentic article. Such wisdom and heart.
I count you, Ann Cannon, as one of my greatest blessings.
Thank you for sharing your talent and heart. And no, we will not forget.

I Don't Agree

Yes I to do have fellings for the poor people of Haiti, but what more should we feel compelled to do than sending them some money and pray that they can rebuild their country. But, the fact is this, we have poverty, starving and neglected people right here in the good ole USA. We can't be the care takers of the world, how about some help from other countries? This kind of poverty is world wide not just Haiti and we alone can't and shouldn't be responsible for their welefare. Just look at the billions and volunteers we have sent already. Why should we continue for the unforseeable future pour assests into this 1 country while not cleaning up our own house? Haiti and many others just live this way and all the help we can give will not result in a huge change. How about the rotten drug problems we have here that are causing so much tragjedy for so many innocent people. What should we do about this? Nothing? Drugs provided by alot of these so-called impoverished countries. Lets clean up here first! Then there and other places.

Thanks for the insight Ann. I love your writing.

Loved the article. I love your writing style but even more than that, I love your thoughts and your ability and willingness to share the process you go through to get to them. I love your humanness. This will be another one of your articles I cut out and add to my collection of "Other people's thoughts I wish I had thought up" to think about over the coming years. It will go right next to the sentences about how much better my sinuses will feel in the resurrection and the woman in the car mangled by the semi while talking on the cell phone who will relate the ordeal to a church lesson.

Loved the article, Gangy.

Monsieur le prof
