Four generations of our family have depended on Lorenz's skill.
My Great-grandfather, a blacksmith by profession, used Lorenz grinding to grind and sharpen the hunting knives he made. He passed his knife making skill to my father, a machinist, who also used Lorenz to grind and sharpen the knives he made that I have now passed on to my son.
For those who have never used Lorenz's services, stop by with your dull scissors, kitchen, outdoor or pocket knives. See what it's like to use a sharp, expertly honed edge you will be able to depend on.
Lorenz is also a retailer for many brand name culinary, outdoor and utility blades such as the German made Henckel and the incredibly difficult to obtain, hand made American Randall Knife.
I look forward to many more generations with Lorenz.
Happy 100, Lorenz Grinding !!
