I agree milsap is the Kang!!
ps cj go to oklahoma, korver play more quite being a baby and tell coach to play u!!
Just one more reason why, even though the contract wasn't ideal, the Jazz had to match on Millsap last summer. This guy is a real gem.
Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!
this is a great jazz team. most of these guys will want to be starters so either work it out the way it is or we will see a change come.
I agree he is a keeper. However, he is most effective when paired with another interior scorer like Boozer.
Fortunately, it seems the consistent effort and defensive attitude he exemplifies seem to be rubbing off. Boozer, get just a little closer...
In Utah, we love a tough guy! We will support you 100% and have your back at all times if you give your everything on the court. Play through pain and you earn the fans' respect.
Tell Sloan that Stockton and Malone don't work here anymore!!!!!!
"Tell Sloan that Stockton and Malone don't work here anymore"!!!!!!
Yes, and that's a shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That picture of Paul Millsap by August Miller should be on the next Jazz poster! I see so many sports photos that are supposed to make athletes look tough and end up looking phony or even funny. This one should have a caption on it that says "Stay out of the Lane". Great photo!
Milsap has played through injuries that would have kept Carlos out for days if not weeks over the past couple of seasons.
To KOC, let's get something done to put us closer to the Lakers and Denver. Otherwise I might have to think you all are ok with getting bounced in the 2nd round.
I am apposed to trading Korver for salary relief. However, Camby at 7.65 mill is a temptation. Supposedly DEN and NY are interested in Camby.
Korver has not played the last couple of games but he is indispensable if the rest of the team can't hit 3s. His presence on the floor opens up the inside.
However, Camby is seasoned enough that he can do what Fez has not been able to do. Play 20 minutes of solid C while providing some offense. Camby can be paired with Boozer and Millsap with Okur and the interior D would improve a lot and the interior offense might improve a little.
That would still leave outside shooting as an erratic weakness and vulnerability.
It is a temptation.
How is it a temptation? Clippers are not even going to give any deal the Jazz can offer for Camby a second thought. Heck though, Camby on the Jazz! That would be great! Newsflash...NOT going to happen.
I wish we were able to get Camby. To go offense/defense down the stretch of close games......
He would help alot with DEN/LA's length advantage. Maybe KOC can pull off a miracle. The Lakers did get Gasol for what appeared to be nothing.
At this point the only trade I would expect is a salary dump.
We just need a little luck like getting Horny for Jeff Malone. Now that was a miracle.
I'm still in favor of trading Boozer. He is performing well because he has to look good to get a fat contract next year, but because he is performing well it makes him more appealing to other teams for a trade. Let's get rid of him while we still can! Paul can fill in his position well enough, and in some ways even better.
not Korver/Camby but CJ/Turiaf!
Good idea, CJ for Turiaf. Korver is way more worth keeping, and he's more valuable than Turiaf. I'd like to do a CJ/Koufos for Turiaf. That would cut 1 mil off the books and give us the back up defensive-minded center we desperately need.
Bryan, you're obviously not paying attention to the Jazz this season. Or at least not paying attention close enough to know that the Jazz are 19-3 when Boozer scores 20 points or more, and are 9-15 when he doesn't. Just because its a contract year doesn't mean anything. He's producing and contributing on offense AND defense. What does it matter why he's doing it? There's no doubt that Boozer is gone after this year, and there's no team thats going to be willing to give up anything substantial in a trade when they know they have a chance of picking him up in free agency during the offseason. I read some of the comments on these articles and thank GOD that the majority of you aren't allowed to have ANY say in what happens with the Jazz.
Amen Dunzo !!!!!
I AM IRON MAN nanananananana IRON MAN .....
They should trade cj
Jazz fans were spoiled when Stockton and Malone played. I think Malone missed 6 or 7 games (including 3 games for suspensions) and Stockton 3 games during their entire careers, if I remember the numbers.
