Please know that the student has been taken to the hospital and is in good care. She is still in critical condition, and it is really up to God right now. Thanks for your concerns,and I will let you know if I am given permission.
Please know that accidents happen, and that although we should ALL pay more attention to driving thru crosswalks, it appears that the young girl had the right of way. The family only knows what is posted online. We are still awaiting the information from the accident. Please keep everything positive and uplifting, as that is what both families need (the person driving and the person who got hit). Thank you to all.
The Magna Town Council meets in the Chamber of Commerce building (9145 West 2700 South) on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm.

Obviously if so many accidents happen there it's not obvious who has the right of way.
