This looks absolutely awesome! I was planning a family trip to the South Rim this summer, to finally see the Grand Canyon, but now I might just wait until next spring so we can see this bridge as well, and save time doing it....
...what would happen to the bridge IF that dam ever gave way. Now, I know the Hoover/Boulder Dam has been there for many years and is secure. But nothing lasts forever, and I can't help but wonder what provisions might have been made in the event of a dam failure; if the bridge would hold up. And, since I'm really scared of heights anyway, I do not like crossing any bridge, let alone one that is this high! Looks pretty amazing, though.
Just Wondering... Your concern over the bridge is noted but misplaced. If that Dam ever failed, I would be more concerned about Las Vegas and their contingency plan then the bridge and it’s contingency plan...
