My husband and I joke about the movie, "Phenomenon" with John Travolta before the bald head and shoe polish gotee.

Johnny boy tries to win over that lady that I can't remember her name. And what does he do? Buys her chairs. HER CHAIRS! (Warning: This is one of those subtle hints.) The thing that she loves. The thing that she's passionate about.
