I agree with targeting any suspicious vehicle, in state or out of state. Profiling certain types of behavior will help catch more criminals.. Go UHP!

No defense.

These drug runners have no defense, and regardless for the reason of a stop, they broke the law.

It is usual and customary that law enforcement across the country is selective in the laws it enforces. If we could get it to happen, I think every state should have an inspection station at every state line road and search every vehicle for contraband and illegals. Drastic crime need drastic laws to get crime and drugs and illegals off our streets and out of our schools.

Interstate laws allow states to make commercial vehicles go through inspection stations, so why can't that apply to every vehicle traveling interstate? It would be an inconvenience to some in time, but in order to stop interstate crime we need more interstate controls. States could have an joint agreement at common borders for these inspections. Drastic times call for drastic measures to combat the war on drugs. Stop the flow, you stop the drugs.

And, let me guess. You also believe that govt should not interfere in our lives?

Periodic, across the board housing searches would probably turn up some illegal stuff also.

Is that next?
