Utah Jazz: Mehmet Okur is 'Money' against Blazers

Okur was tremendous. When he is aggressive, the Jazz can beat anyone. Lately, he stepped up his defensive presence and if the offense stays potent the Jazz are in for a prolonged stretch.

His 3s, though, will remain for me the main attraction. The way the ball rolls into basket is so sweet. Don't stop shooting the ball, big fella!

Make no mistake, if Memo starts dropping more 20 point games, the Jazz could be legitimate contenders. Nice game Memo!

Remember what happened to Memo a couple of years ago when his first child was born... He completely fell apart!

Hopefully he is used to being a father and it won't rattle him too bad!

the jazz played as a team and were VERY exciting to watch with all the hustle and great assists but those inane off topic comments right during live play was a real turn off!
football has long pauses between plays- plenty of time to add so called color. basketball moves fast and furious especially last night as both teams hustled but the most exciting plays were totally missed by those egotistical morons who think we watch jazz games on tv when we cannot make a live game just to hear those has been losers babble! where's hot rod when you really need him?

I was the person who waved Turkish flag throughout the game to support Mehmet Okur yesterday. I just came to Salt Lake City from Istanbul, Turkey to watch him. (app.20 hours by plane from Istanbul via Chicago) and I think it worthed to travel this long trip.
Mehmet was excellent. Should I come to SLC for every game?

I miss Hot Rod also. I don't know why they feel so compelled to talk about all these topics that are not pertinent to the ballgame. This goes both for the tv and radio broadcasts.

I met memo while working at the gap. He came in and bought clothes for his baby. He is the nicest guy ever. I think people need to stop demanding he drive and play back to the basket. He needs to shoot and shoot often. That's the reason he's been slumping a bit. Anyway, he's one of my favorites. Go memo! Go jazz!

The Jazz are doing great with out Boozer. Why can't he stay injured a little longer, say another two months?

I like that Memo can take it to the basket now, but I think he has complicated his game too much. I would never take a jumper over driving to the basket, but sometimes I think it is better for the Jazz when he shoots jumpers... but only when the rest of the team is taking it the rack.

If his shot gets going again, the Jazz might just be able to put it all together.

Muzaffer, I give you big props! That is a long way to come to see Memo. Sounds like it was worth it!
