BYU was listed at #24, but the loss of Kona Schwenke caused them to drop out of the final top 25 listings. North Carolina is now the new #24.
Who cares? Best class in the state. Again.
Like 15th in the nation but the loss of Kona Schwenke dropped them to 22nd on Scout
Not as deep as utahs
Not as deep as Boylen's
Do you know what deep means?
Deep means the NUMBER of capable players who can fill in if a player leaves the team from injury, graduation, academic ineligibility, etc. etc.
But Utah doesn't have problem with the latter I'm sure.
The only position that Utah recruited more of than BYU was WR's and DB's.
That's fine though, because we already have tons of WR's and we have plenty of DB's this year too.
DB will have to be heavily recruited in 2011 for BYU, I hope that the coaches agree.
Funny...
Having followed BYU recruiting for two decades it is predictable that every years is the best BYU class ever.
Could it possibly be that every single class is better than the all other classes?
Yeehaw!
Once again we were out done by the Utes.
Funny...
Having witnessed the stupidity of zoobs for two decades it is predictable that every year their fans will get dumber.
Could it possibly be that we have the dumbest group of zoobs ever? This looks like another great Vegas Bowl crew. Cougs will continue to be eaten alive in the secondary. Nice job getting a Georgia recruit, its just too bad he weighs a buck fifty and runs a 4.7 forty. Wow

That is the goal, is it not?
BYU recruits kids by saying, "Do you want to play in Vegas in December before Christmas? Play for us so you can be home for the holidays!"
Football is more than football. It is about molding young men to be men. Men of a greater character than when they stepped on campus. A bond of brotherhood begins and transcends all other activities surrounding football itself. The days of shaking ones hand as an agreement to something, are far and few between. Nowadays, you can change your mind, however, there may be consequences, whether positive or negative for the one who has changed his or her mind. I agree with Mr. Mendenhall's philosophy. You verbally commit and change your mind, then you lose your chance to excel in BYU's program. That was the players choice, not the programs. Move over so someonce else can benefit from the leadership that all the coaches offer these players. The example and mentorship that is present in the prgram and in all other sporting programs at BYU, support the mission of the LDS Church. Not the other way around. If one does not agree with that, that is their choice and should not be ostrasized (sp?). For those who do not agree, then that is your choice and I respect it. I believe the program is stronger because of Mendenhall.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
GO UTES!!!!!!!!!
Much deeper than Utah's. Not even close.
utes and cougs , please don't expose your stupidity. What counts is what happens on the field. I suspect that many bloggers have never stapped it up. By the way, what do you expect a coach to say, "this is the worst calass in the last 5 years"?
Utah recruits kids by saying, "play for us we have lost to BYU 3 out of the last 4 years".
Lots of dreamers and spinners on these comments. We will see how they pan out on the field. Looking forward to September.
One of the most significant facts about the current recruiting class at BYU is that BYU offered scholarships to 11 Utah HS players and signed 10 of them. That, to me, shows domination of recruiting in the home state.
"stapped it up"????the adage comes to mind,"people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".
