Yep, that's representative of how Utahns feel about soccer. I can't believe RSL still exists.
I can't wait for RSL to take on Philly and cream them. expansion team on a 4 game road trip? HAHAHA! Sorry Seitz!
Yep, there were zero comments when you posted at 1:09 pm. That was 3 full minutes after the original article was posted (1:06 pm).
I love the DesNews trolls!
if the Jazz finish out of the playoffs in the west, the NBA will move them to the east so they can get into the post-season. RSL should never have even been in the playoffs last year so that they could win their fluke title.
That's because the people who care about soccer actually have jobs and can't sit around and wait a whole three minutes after the story posts to trash it. Go RSL!
RSL has a title!!! Love the Jazz, but frustrated with years of being close.
Go RSL!!!!
And for those making remarks about how many people have commented... it's a schedule, give it up.
I pity you and your pathetic life. Go Real!!!
I do not think this is a favorable schedule. Starting off by playing 4 of our first 5 on the road, and then finishing off by playing 3 of our last 4 on the road as well? RSL needs to take their road form from the playoffs so that we can be a better road team this year.
What makes me glad is that this isn't the full schedule yet. Can't wait to see the champions league schedule and what teams we will be playing.
Considering that the MLS playoff system is actual fair by taking the best 8 teams in the league, their title is not a fluke.
The NBA has been considering changing their playoff format to take the top 16 teams regardless of conference. It is not that strange of a system.
Soccer is strange to me and I don't get it. That is way I fear soccer!!
It usually take more than three minutes before anyone comments on a story. Soccer must be gain popuarity in Utah!!
Opener at Rio Tinto should be awsome, I cannot wait to see RSL defend its title this season. Welcome back trolls.
Maybe by playing 4 of our first 5 on the road we can avoid the bad weather that we had at the start of last season. The first few home games were cold and rainy. I was there of course but the weather kept a few fans home. This should help for attendance anyway. Especially if we win some of these road games! Defend the CUP! Go RSL!
Lets do it again this year, I don't know if like that 3 of the last 4 on road either, but hopefully we can take some motivation from last season.
Who Cares?
the MLS playoff system actually makes more sense if you think about it. It has a better chance of getting the 8 best teams in... not just the 4 best from each conference. We have all seen teams that take the 7 or 8 seeds in one conference in the NBA be MUCH worse then teams that are the 9 or 10 seed in the opposite conference.
The naming of the conferences is stupid, I agree. But the philsophy behind it (trying to get the best 8 teams in regardless of location) makes sense
@ Nazdar
What do you think attendance would be if RSL was
1-4 going into May? I don't know if it would be much better than going to the bad weather games. I wonder if it is the league that makes the schedule or the teams that work on it?
More people care than you stupid haters. We are Champs! RSL are champions! And they won over many people who will now start to support them. so if you arent impressed by a championship, then you never will. I hate soccer haters as much as soccer haters hate soccer. Grow up and get back to flipping your patties.
You're right, if they are going to crossover, why have conferences in the first place. Plus, in either the NBA or MLS, each conference plays a different schedule, so you can't really compare records of teams from opposite conferences. Thats why there shouldn't be any crossover.
It always amuses me that people get on these posts to knock on rsl by saying they dont care about soccer and no one does. So why even take the effort to comment on a soccer article then you delightfully incompetent people??? arent you contradicr=ting yourself by even being on the page??
