It all started 4th down and 18 yards ago!
on a great season; and good luck in the Super Bowl!
btw, Utah fans send their greetings, but they still think you're too slow to play in the NFL.
On the other hand, Cougar fans knew you'd do great because magic happens!
Carry on!
Collie would be good with any QB. Sure, he's lucky to have Manning throwing to him, but Manning's also lucky to be able to pass to someone like Collie. It's a team sport.
He was a winner at BYU and a winner in the pros. It shows what happens when you combine talent with great work ethic--and a few lucky breaks along the way.
I love BYU and all the success it's had with players past and present! I will be cheering for Collie and his Colts.
Since the Cardinals are out, Collie is the reason that I'm cheering for the Colts to win it all. Collie is a huge part of their passing success this year. Granted he has arguably the greatest QB of all-time throwing him the ball, but he's been a great asset to their organization. Good luck Collie!
Basically the top rookie out of the entire country. His contributions are as big as anybody's. Especially against the Jets, he turned the momentum for the entire game.
Collies are going to become a common player coming out of BYU for the next decade. Get used to it!
What!?!? Collie in the super bowl. I thought he was too slow for a high school varsity team.
Way to go Collie, filling in big shoes and hleping make your team to the super bowl. Best of Luck to you and the Colts on Sunday.
Go Collie, Go Cougars and all alum in this big game.
kickstart win for SuperBowl Sunday
Big Blue Colts = NewOrleans Saints------------
Slow white guy from BYU who will never make it in the NFL is showing the BYU haters that he is, can and will be successful in the NFL. Those in the know saw it once he hit the field and knew they got a steal. The BYU Haters must be having nightmares because their hatred and predictions have been shattered thus far. Only injury will stop him from becoming even better. Way to show them Collie. OH, by the way, hee is still open on 4 and 18.
Collie - Manning = USFL
Looks like good things are happening with Austin.
Very good story. It has been a pleasure to see the success he is experiencing his first year. I know that his mission experience has played a major role in that success, as well. "Carry On, Carry On, Carry On!" Go Indianapolis Cougars!!!! oh....Colts. Got carried away. Also, these guys should be noted as well:
Colts Roster
1. Kyle DeVan - substitute teacher & living with parents last year.
2. Hank Baskett - New Mexico
3. Aaron Francisco - BYU
4. Freddy Keiaho - SDSU
Saints Roster
1. Lynell Hamilton - SDSU
2. Jeff Charleston - Idaho St.
this is an awsome story the kind of story that I enjoy...
Great job collie you're a stud have a great carrer with the colts and their 2010 superbowl title!!
Man o man, is this kid living right or what? First he gets drafted by the Colts, gets to know the best QB in the NFL, and now will be catching TD passes in the Super Bowl his first year out of College, and he left school early to boot. Magic is happening all around him. Finally his words make sense. Oh yeah. I get it now.
What a stud muffin.
We sure are proud of Brother Collie. And we are especially excited to have him as a part of the local team. Colts are a class act, and so is Austin. The Colts don't trash talk, are serious about the game, and are clean players. Austin Collie has been a great addition, and the Colts appreicate him, as do we the fans! I'm predicting 33-27 Colts. (Even though Drew Brees played college ball at Purdue in Indiana, my heart is still with the Colts)!
why isn't he going to church on sunday? what happen to Marvin Harrison when he no longer had Peyton, I don't think anybody thought he was good enough to sign.
The best programs, the best competition, the best players, California High School football! Sending white WR's to the NFL, and thousands of more players.
As a die hard BYU fan, I've always loved Collie, BUT and that is a big BUT, Peyton Manning is not of this earth when it comes to QB play. I love Max Hall because he is gritty but going from Max to Peyton is like going from a Ford Mustang to an F-22. Collie will never ever play with another QB of his calliber. NEVER. Because of Collie, I think I'd like to see the Colts win.
