turnovers, turnovers, turnovers need I say more the game was lost on TURNOVERS Lone Peak didn't win the game Brighton lost it. Nick Emery the best player on the floor was in foul trouble all night and Brighton still could not win. TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS TURNOVERS.
Can't believe the print paper didn't even have the box score for the defeat of the top team in the most competitive 5A region.
I'm sorry to disagree, but Lone Peak did win that game with defense. They switched to the 1-3-1 zone and Brighton had no answer. Defense wins big games and that's exactly what happened last night. Nice win Lp! Without Emery on the floor for a substantial period of time, you showed a lot of heart and got a much needed win against one of the best teams in the state!
Yes - Lone Peak did win the game - but I'm not sure that it was their defense that caused Brighton to be careless with the ball. Congrats though to LP - Bengals will be cheering for you to win the rest of your region games - Brighton will learn from their mistakes and should bounce back strong.
Brighton students what is wrong with you? You guys have one of the best basketball teams in the state and you hardly show up to watch them play. They need you there to support them at every game home or road. At the LP game last night it was mostly the girls basketball team and then a few more students showed up, but not near enough to give enough support to the team. Friday night there is a home game against American Fork be there in full force for your school.
hmm lets see....to get turnovers means to put pressure on the ball and force them to be careless with it, outcome: TURNOVERS. Yes it was the outstanding defensive effort of the knights to make Brighton turn the ball over. It almost looked as if the knights had more chemistry last night. Brady and Brody Berry played smarter than ever last night and the result was them staying in the game longer and making key plays for LP.
OCHO out!!!
Hey Ocho, I didn't get the opportunity to hear what you had to say about the Wednesday night game. Were you at the game? You always have a lot to say when Lone Peak wins, but were sure quiet on the blogs Thursday after a loss.
OCHO was blogging under another screen name. That's the beauty of the internet, nobody knows what, or who, is real, or not. Some of you take things way too seriously, and also believe you are way too important.
Why dosen't the little miller kid play anymore
jersey number was honored/ retired last night. He was a great ball at Lone Peak and continues turning heads in the College game as a BYU Cougar.
What a unique basketball playing family the Emery's are.
