I can't wait to see this.

Wow, I think this is the first movie that Jeff Vice has liked! I'm looking forward to see it, and hopefully it will honor Heath Ledger and his talent.

Hi Jeff! I missed your movie reviews on Radio From Hell today and I was wondering how many stars you gave The Dark Knight?

Thanks!

Wasn't Batman Begins released in 2005?

Jeff I've been waiting to see how you would review this movie and I must say that I'm pleased that you gave it four stars, because my obsessive love of Batman would demand that I take extreme action against you were you to rate it anything less... I say that entirely as a hyped up fan who isn't privileged enough to view this movie any earlier than tonight at midnight!

No matter how great Ledger's performance may be, a posthumous appearance does not make his performance greater. I can't help but feel the recent gushing of Ledger is largely influenced by his passing.

We can also take Vice's 4 star rating with a grain of salt. Whereas I often find myself agreeing with him, every now and then he'll give a 3 and a half or a 4 star rating to movies that are downright awful, poorly written and ignorant.

Having said all that, there's no doubt this movie is a great one. Great acting will be just one of its many qualities. Good writing, stimulating themes, rich symbolism and depth will no doubt exist.

But then again, I really, really, really hope 10 years from now Superhero/Comic Book movies will be a thing of the past. Bring originality back! The world is in desperate need of brand new material, stories and ideas.

Batman Begins WAS released in summer 2005.

I thought Ledger's performance was one of several great performances. It is a flashier role but he is a supporting character and others are just as good.

You may take Vice's review but if you add together all the critics that are raving, you are gonna have a heap of salt. It was the best movie I have seen this year for sure - far and away.

I hated the movie from start to finish. Evil in every way.

Great film!

I loved the Jim Gordon character and Harvey Dent. Great stuff.

Don't take kids.

Heath Ledger stars as the Joker, an unhinged and deranged villain, in the film "The Dark Knight."
