Better than original huh?

That's not exactly a difficult feat.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I can't quite say it was better than the original - the stroy for "LWW" is much stronger, but director Adamson and the cast really seemed more comfortable this time around. I had a great time with this and found it to be a very solid adventure.

For everyone who thinks it is "better than the original" it just shows they have not read the books. This is not a "hey, the first movie made money, so let's make another"...it is a second book in a longer series.

I suspect they will get better as they go as the screen writers get more into the characters and themes throughout the series, they will better understand how to bring Lewis' vibrant exciting world to life.

But it is not a sequel, it is a continuation and but a second part of a much longer series. There are more movies to come and I am excited to see them all as reading the books was a fun part of my growing up.

The children had no personalities in the first movie, and were like empty little whiny robots. I hope that changes in the second movie and they develop at least some likeable or individual traits. I found the first movie barely watchable as a result- these empty vapid kids were "special" and "important" merely for existing, kind of like recent "self esteem" drivel.

I'm sorry to sy this, Chad, but it looks like the movie series will end with Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I like Dawn Treader, so at least they do plan on making it that far, but Disney has announced that they currently have no intention of going beyond the third one. (They've already started pre-production on it, so it's pretty much a sure thing.)

Magic potions = drugs? That's silly.
