My friend and I went to this movie knowing fully well that
it would never win any awards and would not be the
summerÂs top film, or even in the top 20 most likely. With
this in mind there was no where to go but up and it did go
up, about 2-2.5 stars worth. It wasnÂt the greatest movie
with obvious dialog and acting deficiencies and Jeff Vice
hit the target when he said ÂWhole sections of "Into the
Blue" seem to be about nothing more than getting the
film's attractive young stars into the skimpiest, most
revealing outfits, and showing off their tanned, toned
bodiesÂ. But overall the movie was pretty Âok and better
than sitting home watching reality TV shows. Be prepared
to plug your ears, there was some strong profanity which
is always a turn off and unnecessary. Rather than paying
7.75 you may consider staying in with a bag goodies and
playing Parcheesi.
