understated (I am not sure the producers knew which
stories were written by the Brothers Grimm) A scene
towards the end showed Heath Ledger burrowing into a stack
of mattresses suggesting, I think, the "Princes and the
Pea" which is a Hans Christian Anderson story.
Poorly filmed, you could not understand a couple of the
main characters (bad accents and slurred words).

tales, failed. In spite of honest efforts to figure out
what is going on, you don't get enough information to do
that until the last 5 minutes. Apparently you have to be a
complete expert on the Grimm stories to appreciate the
story progress.
confused for the first 45 min. of it. I did laugh pretty
hard throughout the movie.
