Normally we're a big fan of Bill Murray's low key
brilliant humor, but this is thee slowest movie I've seen
in some time and lacks a key element of movie making not
mentioned in the critic's review: It's not entertaining---
at all---not even a little bit. Hollywood is so into
itself--who else would care about a story like this? The
movie had us wondering, when is this beige story about a
beige single man going to start being mildly interesting?
We should of known when the critic loved it, it's usually
a pile of doo doo. And where did that nude scene come
from--'we've been filming Bill Murray sitting in a plane
seat and a car rental seat with no expression on his face
for an hour now, so let's show some skin?' Give me a 2
1/2 star movie with a story any day.
