Howl's Moving Castle is one of the greatest animated movies
I have seen in a long time. Hayao Miyazaki's other films,
while visually stunning, have always been a little strange
for me, but I am a huge fan of this one. Its similar in
message to the Beauty and the Beast story, only fresher.
This is a great movie for the family, I know mine really
enjoyed it.
We saw the film in Japanese(?) with English subtitles and
although I was absolutely delighted (I loved the fasinating
script as well as the natural beauty of the scenery), I
wasn't sure how my husband would react. He was as charmed
as I was and we have enjoyed discussing the many unlying
messages. We found more the 2nd time through. 31/2 stars!
