People either love or hate this movie based on what they expected. Those who
hated it found it slow, boring, and not scary enough. The reason I loved this
movie was the love story in it. There is plenty of humor, frightening tense
moments and intrigue, but what won me over were the characters that were such a
wonderful blend of sacrifice, innocence, and nobility. When you rent it, be sure
to watch the special features, especially Bryce Dallas Howard’s diary.
