Having young children who enjoy watching this show on
television, it was almost a given that my wife and I would
take them to see the film. All four of us had a pleasant
experience. My 3-year-old sat still in his seat
throughout the entire film, which is extremely unusual
since he doesn't even sit still through a 90 minute video
at home! "The Wild Thornberrys" is probably the best
written of all of Nickelodeon's cartoons. The writers do
an excellent job of keeping both adults and children
entertained. The premise translates to the big screen
extremely well. Although there's reference to at least
one "Thornberrys" episode, you don't have to have seen the
tv show to enjoy the movie. The film's only flaws are
some minor stretches of unbelievability. On the whole,
however, everyone should enjoy this movie.
