There is something wrong with movie rating system today.
Over the weekend I saw two movies, each with the wrong
rating. The first was, Men of Honor. This was a movie
that I loved. The story is one that I would want my
children to see, if I had children. The violence was mild,
as was the language.
The other movie that I saw was the preview for The 6th Day.
How this movie was only rated pg-13 wonders me. When I
first saw a trailer for this movie the first thing that I
thought was this is a new version of Total Recall. The
violence in this movie is far greater than Total Recall,
and the language was very strong. I feel this movie should
have been rated R.
