6 year old twins. They were disappointed with it. ALL
evening they compared it to the 1956 version with Yul
Brenner. They like the original better and can't
understand why it was done in cartoon to be VERY different
from the original version (we've tried to explain it, but
that does not satisfy them). They saw the original version
on video only a few weeks ago. They auditioned for the
king's chldren at our college theater. They got the parts
before even seeing it on video. They now have seen the
original about 8 times from beginning to end. All in all,
I guess when they watch the cartoon version, they like to
compare and contrast the two. That IS a learning activity
that takes some thinking. Thanks!!!
