With as much talent as they had in this movie, I thought it
would would have been better.

You are joking this is the second best movieinthe world. In
Australia it is Rated MA not R so that must say that it is
not that bad god, if you don't like it don't watch it. It is
good with an excellent soundtrack.

I can't give this movie anything but 2 stars, because I had
absolutely NO empathy toward any of the characters. Kathryn
and Sebastian are both Yuppies, self-absorbed and shallow,
Cecile is endearing as the young sacrifice but is irritating
with her airheadedness, and Annette is fine, but gives in to
Sebastian instead of kicking him in the slats.

The movie also plodded along, all said, I didn't see what
all the fuss was about. The only scenes that were priceless
were the Making Faces to Sebastian scene in the car, and the
opening scene when the daughter is on the Internet.

Most only watch the movie to see Sarah in something else
besides what she wears on Buffy. And most poeple don't pay
attention to the movie it's self. Or if your a girl (In my
case and my friends) you watch it to see Ryan. Most of the
movie is about sex, yes. But at the end he learns there is
more to a relationship that sex. I think people who are 14
a
just strating to think that Buffy is aa real good show
shouldn't even see the previews on this. Plus, kids
shouldn't even see the movie beacuse of the fact it R.

It wasn't Shakespere nor was it Clueless. Cruel Intentions
was a strange delight. On one side it's unrealistic, silly,
and shallow. On the other it's fun, witty, sometimes smart,
and almost always entertaining. A film that attempts to
turn
and old French novel into a 90's teen soap opera, starring
twenty-somethings might of been better as a comedy. Though
the film was very witty as I have mensioned. Many people
have panned and praised the acting in this film. It isn't
Oscar-worthy, but these are rather difficult roles and I
think these stars did the trick. I myself, would of made
Witherspoon the evil step-sister of Sebastian, and Geller
the sweet one, but that's just me.

The movie was great - I loved it - That was Sarah's best
role
and lets not forget Ryan - he showed real talent in this
movie.
