This movie had some really hilarious characters and
scenes. It was one of those movies that you don't want to
end. If you like odd characters and some good laughs, I
recommend it heartily.

Waking Ned Devine takes a simple idea (someone won the
lottery) and builds a touching, interesting, funny movie
around it. The performances are excellent. The story
gradually invites you in. It is refreshing to see ordinary
people. Hollywood so often uses only the beautiful and
dangerous people. Here you have ordinary people in a
common situation with some very interesting twists. Go see
it.

Highly recommended, especially if you've spent some time in
Ireland. There is Irish humor throughout the film that is
quite often lost on Americans.

This is one of the best comedies to come out of Ireland in
quite awhile! And one of the most inspiring too! I also
loved the music. This movie is a winning ticket and a
thinking person's comedy as well. Even the supporting
characters and their story parts here were charming. I
highly recommend Waking Ned Devine, it's a crowd pleaser
that everyone can enjoy.

This was a clever film although a bit drawn out. Even
though it is short, it feels a little longer than it is.
Still, it was entertaining nonetheless aside from the
somewhat disturbing and strange ending.
