It was an awesome movie in every way! I don't know how it
could possibly have been any better!

This is a surprisingly good movie. It is a bit scary for
the very young, but I have seen worse on saturday morning
cartoons. The huge mountain gorilla is completely
convincing throughout (and is a better actor than Jeff Vice
is a film critic). The story line is a bit simple and
predictable but held my interest nonetheless. Charlize
Theron is great and has a striking screen presence that
will make of her a major star. I recommend this film.

I was shocked by this movie. But more than the movie, I was
shocked by the rating. It proves to me that there is no
validity to the rating system. I was appauled that with so
much violence that this movie was able to hit the market
rated 'G'. I have no faith any longer in the ratings system.
When they will rate something this violent 'G' - what does
'R' mean anymore.

This movie was great! It has just the right amount of
all the essential qualities! And it had a fantastic ending!
I loved it!

I enjoyed this greatly. I wasn't bothered by what the "professional" reviewers thought about the "gorilla" and the female lead. I was caught up in the story and went from laughter to tears. I will buy this when it comes out in video.

The only reason I went to this movie was because I missed
the showing of "Star Trek, Insurrection" and I wasn't sorry
once I got out. I concede with the critic that it is a bit
violent, but what else can you expect from a 15 foot
gorilla? Parents, if you want a good, clean, family show
that will make you cry like I did, make this one part of
your collection.

OK But It was too short.

It's worse than I thought. As if the poor dialogue and
performances weren't enough, they had to throw in a lot of
awful violence as well. I just couldn't stand it. So this
is what Disney stands for today. Blecch. Keep the kids away
from this swill unless you're a scatterbrain.

I love this movie! I have seen it many times and every time
I have cried and laughed at the same parts. I also have 3
daughters ages 13 5 & 4, they too love this movie. They
were not frightend with the actions of Joe at all. They
cheered for him and cried for him. The only thing that is
wrong with them watching this is that now they want Joe to
come live with us. Way to go Disney!!!

Hi~
I'm Amanda. I really loved Mighty Joe Young!!! Even though
it may have been a little tense for younger kids it was
great for teens and adults. It is one of my favorite
movies!!! There aren't sware words that I recall and it
gives you the thought of what might happen next. I think
other people who by chance haven't seen it would deeply
enjoy it. Charlize Theron and Bill Paxton gave it a great
outlook.
Sincerely,
Amanda
