I am doing a paper on the leadership styles of the young
boys in this movie. I would like any help anyone can give
me on this information. My email address is
washingt@mail.mcm.edu. Thank you

I fell in love with the movie the first time I saw it!! It
was funny, and extremly tragic at the end. I'm a very
emotionl person so the movie, to me, was a real tear
jerker. And all the guy was a big plus!! oh and Scott Wolf
was so fine in the movie!!

I enjoyed this dramatic movie. The visual effects were
really convincing and there were a lot of funny parts. It
was a real tear-jerker but I love dramas and I'm a big fan
of Balthazar Getty as well. I thought that it was a little
kinky that Ryan Phillipe and Scott Wolfe were like the
"Do-Gooder" team, like forming a little study group and
doing everything together, but other than that, Jeff Bridges
gave a riveting performance and the movie itself was
terrific.

I absolutely loved this movie first time I saw it. Then I
went sailing on "Eye of the Wind" (ship used in the movie)
and then I really understood what it was about. Yes it may
seem like a typical movie about a bunch of boys learning
about life but once you've sailed and been there is comes
alive. The movie was so realistic. And that Ebert "movie
critic" guy was complaing about the motto "Where we go one,
we go all" As a sat there in the middle of the night
polishing the bell I thought about it (it's engraved on the
bell). I relised that ship isn't going anywhere without all
of us. We were a team and only a team can handle the eye.
The friendships, phobias, and all the caracters really came
alive in all of us. There's a certain spirit about the ship
and once you've been there then you can understand.

I have recently watched this movie and I think it is great.
I have never watched a better dramma than this one. I would
like to congratulate the producer and all the people
starring in the movie on their good work

I don`t know why nobody likes this movie. Where Dead Poets
Society was boring, White Squall is exciting and action-
packed. These characters are real people, with real and
varied backgrounds, and real phobias. The guys get to bond
over their last school year, which in itself brings many
dramas. There`s Gil, the guy whose brother died falling
from a tree, and as a result suffers vertigo. Frankie, the
film`s darkest character, has a lot to live up to with
respects to his father. I hope he didn`t turn out to be a
dork in real life! And Dean, who isn`t very smart but with
some help he turns out to be a good guy (ohhh!) The squall
sequence is exciting and tragic. Each of the four
characters that perish in the squall are represented fairly
and each tale is tragic. The only slow part about the film
is the enquiry at the end, where Capt Sheldon is under
investigation as to whether his ship did hit a freak storm
or was it the boys` inexperience that downed the ship?
No review I have read has been kind to the movie. Most
people just don`t get it. But for those who do, it`s one of
the most enjoyable romps I`ve seen for ages. And the cute
guys without shirts certainly help too!
