I watched the movie after I had read the novel. I found the
novel wonderful, and I think that the film has succeded in
giving the same kind of idea that the novel wants to convey.
I particularly liked the acting. It gives the characters
a "body and soul" that maybe you don't get from the start
reading the novel. Bellissimo!
