Quite a rarity: a Hollywood tearjerker that doesn't insult
one's intelligence. David E. Kelley has written a wonderful
script here, and the game cast (with the exception of the
dour and uncharismatic Claire Danes) is exceptional, with
the underrated Peter Gallagher giving a superb, star-making
performance.
