movie about the Oglala Lakota People. The injustices that
went on in the 70's on the Pine Ridge reservation. ARM is
really AIM the American Indian Movement. The murder of
that peroid, the brulatity of the local GOON squad, the
coverup and stand by turn your head FBI. This movie was
based on facts. The reservation murders, the drive by
shooting, the mining, only thing different was there was no
Val Kilmer that showed up to help save the people.

I think this is one of Val's best movies.. It was to
bring awareness of what our govenment is capable of doing.
actors, especially Kilmer, Greene and "Grandpa". I wish
real life had endings like this movie. It was educational.
FACTS AND INCIDENCES AND VERY WELL AND POLITICALY PORTRAID
BY ALL THE ACTORS IT IS A GREAT PITY THAT CHIEF TED THIN ELK
PASSED AWAY GREAT FILM
on levels deeper than it seems. It was the best movie at
that time, and has a lot to do with finding out truth of
who we are. Val and Graham prove the importance of getting
deeper to truth, but not only to the situation, but to
themselves. Together, they trusted and found that they
were supported all the way. I just want to say that at
this time in 2002, this is exactly what it's all about. be
yourself and find your truth. Thanks to some incredible
actors, we are so fortunate to have this film as a teacher
to life.
COUSINS WERE IN IT EITHER. I REALLY LIKE THAT THEY COULD
BRING A LOT OF OUR "INDIAN HUMOR" INTO IT THE WAY THEY
DID. MAKES ME LONESOME FOR HOME. THATS HOW REAL IT FEELS.
